You know something? I am beginning to realize that being an adult is pretty tough. I couldn't wait to get to this stage but I sometimes wonder why. I have to stand on my own two feet. I have to work for a living. Sure my parents are here and they are willing to help, but I have to accept the fact that they can only do so much. Most of it is up to me.
I am raising a family of my own now. It is funny but all those things my parents used to say and do that I thought were dumb are beginning to make sense. I want what's best for my kids. I guess that is human nature.
Maybe my parents weren't so dumb after all!
