Haworth

Home of the Bronte Sisters

The day we went to Haworth it poured down and it was almost impossible to take photos. Hopefully we can make up for this on our next trip.

The Black Bull The Black Bull. This is where Branwell Bronte reportedly did his drinking and smoked his opium. As you can see, it is a cold, wet and soggy day. It felt more like November instead of June. That's Cath and myself on the steps. We went inside and had a delicious hot meal.
The village of Haworth has one hilly, cobbled street where all the shops are located. It is like stepping into yesterday walking down this street. I love Haworth and since it is only a short drive from my sister's we visit here almost every time I go home. . the main street of Haworth
Parish Church The Parish Church where Patrick Bronte served his ministry.
