I am Over the Hill

Well, here I am, finally, a mature adult! I have survived my baby days; my toddler years; my teenage years; my adulthood, and now they think I am going to sit back and gracefully go into old age. I don't think so!

I am going to do all the things I wanted to do but couldn't when I was busy growing up and busy with family stuff. I wouldn't trade those days for the world, but I am ready for new adventures. I have the second half of my life to live and I intend to live it to the fullest.

There is a whole new world out there. I have found tons of ways to pass my time now.
I will give my parents credit; they did a pretty good job on raising me!

• remembering how I used to think my parents were so smart
• remembering how I used to think my parents were so dumb
• realizing now how much I appreciate my parents for their guidance
• appreciating my family
• learning as much as I can (they say if you don't use it you lose it)
• reading all the books I put aside for a rainy day
• not sweating the small stuff
• the list goes on and on....
