A Special Page

I am dedicated this page to those brave souls who have battled Cancer.

If you have a story, about yourself; a loved one, or a friend that you want to share please won't you e-mail me with the details. By sharing your stories you can help each other to overcome the fears that Cancer sufferers endure. If you have a loved one who was not fortunate enough to win this battle, I will be honoured to put a memorial on this page for you.

My sister is a survivor of Ovarian Cancer. She had discovered a lump but almost cancelled her Doctor's appointment because it seemed to "disappear". Luckily she kept her appointment because, as it turned out, she was diagnosed with Cancer. I will share her story with you soon as I am just getting started on this page and still have a lot of work to do on it.

The following pages are about a few special people who have had to deal with Cancer. Their stories may tug at your heart strings, but hopefully they will also inspire others to share their fears and faith.

  Ruby is a member of WOW (Women of Worldnet). This is a group of ladies who share in each others triumphs and tragedies, communicating through e-mail and, whenever possible, by visiting each other. I am proud to be a member of this group.
