Here I am! God's gift to the world. I am here to re-educate my parents. They just don't know a whole lot you see! In fact they are really quite dumb.
They don't believe me when I tell them I am not going out with that bunch of roughnecks or that I am not tempted to try out drugs and alcohol. They don't know that everyone who is cool does it at least once.
They don't want members of the opposite sex to spend too much time alone with me. Weren't they ever young themselves? I think they have forgotten what it is like to be my age.
I am expected to finish school; go to College, get a good job, etc.etc. Don't they know that it is a teenager's job to have fun. There is plenty of time to be an adult. I don't want to worry about that right now.
Gosh! how did my parents get so dumb!
